The 35-year-old Italian World Cup Winner joins Boca Juniors on a free transfer, 1-year contract.
The defensive midfielder had previously underlined his awe of Boca, due to La Bombonera's atmosphere and Diego Maradona's spell at the team."I couldn't end my career without playing at Boca," De Rossi reportedly told Burdisso, who was his teammate at the Giallorossi.

He didn't renew his contract with AS Roma and had expressed his desire to leave Roma.
