Bundesliga striker to be Newcastle first signing under Steve Bruce


Steve Bruce and Newcastle United are set to make their first transfer of the transfer window with the highly-rated Brazilian striker Joelinton moving to St James Park.
The Brazilian joined Hoffenheim in 2015 but made only a single appearance in his debut season. The Sport Recife academy product spent the next two season on loan in SK Rapid Vienna before returning to Hoffenheim.
On his return, last season, Joelinton scored an impressive 11 goals in 31 matches for the German side in all competitions

Rondon to become Rafael Benitez first signing at Dalian Yifang

Rafael Benitez is close to making West Brom and Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon as his first signing since taking over as the manager of Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang. The Spaniard joined the Chinese club earlier in the month and is now looking at his former striker to strengthen his side. The Baggies are now expected to sell their the 29-year-old striker for a reported fee of 16.5 million pounds after reportedly meeting the striker's release clause. The Venezuelan will make 8million pounds in wages alone in each of the three years of his contract.  Salomon Rondon joined Newcastle United on loan last season and was their best goal scorer with 12 goals in all competitions for the Toons.
