Aston Villa to complete signing of highly rated Manchester City player


Aston Villa is set to complete the signing of highly-rated Manchester City midfielder Douglas Luiz.
The 21-year-old joined Manchester City two years ago from Vasco Da Gama but has not featured in for the Citizens after having troubles securing the work permit.

Aston Villa is expected to announce the midfielder after having agreed on a 15million fee with Manchester City.

The central midfielder was on loan at City Football Group-owned club Girona for the past two seasons where he made 46 appearances across all competitions.
Douglas Luiz is also the captain of the U-23 Brazilian side. 

This is the eighth signing for the newly promoted Aston Villa.
